University Films

Nice Guy

After killing her seemingly perfect boyfriend in self-defence, a traumatised woman must relive his violence in court, where the justice system becomes the final act of horror.

Nice Guy is a passion project we hope to make when we enter our third year of university. We were tasked to make a trailer for this film so we decided to choose a tension building section of the film that we believe shows the skills and quality that we will put into the final film best. I'm so excited to make this film in full and I hope you enjoy the trailer!

Cabbies

A witty London cabbie and their night shift dispatcher forge an unlikely bond. Through banter over the radio, where humour and vulnerability spark an unexpected connection, without the need to see each other face to face.

Cabbies is the first film that I helped make during my second year of university. I worked as the sound recordist and designer for this project and it is my favourite film that I have helped make to date.

Zen

Zen follows a man who creates a robot to help him out in day-to-day life. However, after discovering a collection of DVDs featuring other robots being created, he learns the truth about his origins.

I worked as a sound recordist for a Graduate film whilst in my second year of university. I had a lot of fun working on this film; it has allowed me to start preparing and understanding what it takes to work on a higher-end student film and record quality audio.

This film has not been released to the public yet. I will update the website when it is released
Repeat Repeat Repeat

Repeat Repeat Repeat is an Experimental short film about my experience with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

This is my last film in my first year of university. Although it was quite a stressful and busy experience making the film, I still had a lot of fun and it is definitely one of my favourite films that I have made. I particularly enjoyed the production design and the sound design elements of this project as I believe they were the most effective parts that captured what living with OCD is like.

Iconoscope

An individual receives a mysterious package at their door; while trying to figure out where it came from, the contents seem to come alive.

Iconoscope is my first university film. I had so much fun creating this piece and diving head-first into every part of the creation. For this film, we had to create a non-dialogue piece that was exactly one minute long. Although we had some challenges, I am so happy with how this came out in the end.

The film linked here is the director's cut, which includes credits and slightly longer clips. The original version can be found on my channel.

Bird Watching

Bird Watching is a nice activity to pass the time, especially when you drift of to sleep. But are you always the one watching the birds?

Bird Watching is a short film made entirely of still image photography. We were tasked by our teachers to make a compelling short narrative film that told and engaging story without using any moving image. This was an exciting new way to experiment with how I told my stories and I really enjoyed every part of it.
